Let me say first of all...
You probably already have enough equipment to get started.
You can come to a UkeTok meeting using the laptop you use for Zoom, playing into its internal microphone. You can also use an iPad (with iOS 13 or higher) and some Android tablets. The only other requirement is a pair of wired headphones (not Bluetooth).
If you don't know how to do this yet, or you need any technical assistance with the software, contact Chris by replying to the welcome email after you join the club, or post on our Facebook group and we'll help you out!
However, I do often get asked about audio gear and so below is my recommendation for a setup that is quick to get started with, easy to use, and should be a significant upgrade if you decide you want to take things a step further.
These are by no means the only options, and you may not need everything listed, depending on what you already have. However this is equipment that I have tried and tested, and that I feel confident I could talk you through setting up from scratch.
Best for quality and flexibility
